Dr Gholamreza Kefayati

Dr Kefayati is a Senior Lecturer in Computational Mechanics at the University of Tasmania. Dr Kefayati has introduced and developed efficient and straightforward computational models for complex problems in the fields of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Lattice Boltzmann method (LBM), rheology, porous media and Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI). His research has been published in high-quality journals in the mentioned fields and Dr Kefayati was selected as one of Australia’s top 40 young researchers in The Australian: Research Magazine in 2020. Dr Kefayati is a member of the National Committee on Applied Mechanics (NCAM) in Engineers Australia.
